You searched for a wedding photo book. A physical album of the day. Often the pictures are the ones guests took.
People also search wedding photo book album, a wedding photo book maker, wedding photo book printing, wedding photo books in the UK, and wedding photo book ideas. Nearby phrases are wedding guest photo book, and guest photo book wedding. Some add layflat.
A QR album, a ZIP, then a printer
The usual plan starts with a QR code on the table. Guests scan and land in a browser. They upload into a shared album. No app. Often no account. After the weekend you download a ZIP, sort what is sharp enough, and send it to a printer. Or the album has no download, and a book is an add-on you order from the same gallery.
That only works if guests actually upload. Plenty mean to. They were in the room, then in a taxi, then home. The speech stays on the phone that took it.
What does arrive is an unsorted flood. Chat-quality pictures, the ceiling, the car park, in the order they were sent. You still have to sort it before a book is worth printing. A book of everything is not the album you searched for.
A live wall, then homework on Monday
Some of these albums are open while dinner is still going. A live wall. An instant gallery on a screen. Guests look. Sometimes you look. The room watches the pictures instead of the room.
The other version waits until Monday. Then the messages start. Did you upload the cake? Can you send the first dance again, the original, not the small one? You are still writing while they are back at work. The book has become homework.
A sealed guest camera, then the book
You do not need a quieter upload page. You need the pictures to close while they are still being taken, and a book you order after you have seen them.
Polajoy is a sealed guest camera first. A camera on the phones already in pockets. You set the wedding up yourself, free. Guests join with an event code and an account, so after the wedding the whole set can be sent. iPhone and Android.
Each guest shoots on a 30-shot roll. Ordinary guests hard-stop at 0. No second roll. A gifted or nominated photographer, the friend with the good eye, can start another free 30-shot roll. Ordinary guests do not.
After each shot, ten seconds to Accept or Void. Timeout or a screenshot voids it. A void does not spend a frame. A short handwritten note is optional, up to 34 characters. Initials always go on the frame. Then it seals until the reveal you chose. The end of the night, the next morning, a week later, or a time after the event ends. Not even you see it first.
You see the night when that reveal arrives. You keep the favourites. The shop is there afterwards, if you want paper. Nothing auto-ships. An order is a separate step, after you have already looked.
The layflat photo book
The book is a premium layflat photo book, 12×12", of the favourites you kept, laid out so every spread lies flat. You can also order retroprints, a wall frame with 16 or 25 apertures, and thank-you cards. All of that is on the prints page, and the prices are shown in the app before you order.
Free downloads carry a small wordmark. £2.99 takes it off. Prints never have it. You pay only for what you order.
If the plan was a QR upload, and the book was going to come after, there is a note on a QR code for wedding photos. That note is the collection. This one is the book. If you want the method, how a couple actually gathers the pictures, there is a note on how to collect wedding photos from guests. If the search was a guest photo reel, there is a note on a wedding highlight reel from guest photos. If you wanted photos and a short note in one place, there is a note on a digital guest book that is actually photos. If the thing you wanted was the short roll that stops, there is a note on a wedding film roll that actually stops at thirty.
Setup is free. Pay only if you want prints afterwards. The complete guide walks through looks, table cards, and the reveal. These notes are written by Richard Lovatt, with Kitty. The rest live with the other articles.
A guest camera sits next to the photographer you booked. It does not replace them. Names we have written up live on the directory, including London, Bristol, Manchester, Edinburgh, Wigan, and Weymouth.
We host a handful of weddings. Cash, or store credit and free products. Apply on the host page. We read every one.
