You asked people to put their phones away for the ceremony. Good. The vows should not have to compete with a screen.
Then a quieter thought shows up. If the phones stay in pockets, where do the photos come from?
Your hired photographer is the first answer. Keep them. An unplugged ceremony is not a reason to send them home. They know the light, the order of service, the portraits you actually want. That work is theirs.
The ceremony is also not the whole wedding. If the part you mean is only the aisle, phones down for the vows, there is a shorter note on phone-free ceremony photos.
The rest of the day is doorways, dancing, the table that will not sit down, the grandparent who only stayed for an hour. A photographer cannot be in all of those rooms. Guests already are.
That is what a guest camera is for. It is the other half of the coverage, not a stand-in. If you want that distinction spelled out, there is a note for wedding photographers.
